15 AVIATION VIEW VOLUME 2, ISSUE 1 NBAA’S INTERNATIONAL OPERATORS CONFERENCE A BIG SUCCESS M arch 18, 2022 – More than 400 industry professionals attended National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA’s) International Operators Conference (IOC2022) in Los Angeles recently, gaining valuable insights into how the future of global business aviation is taking shape. “As international business aviation continues to re-emerge, so do the potential challenges – including remaining COVID protocols, and now the war in Ukraine,” said Brian Koester, CAM, NBAA director of flight operations and regulations. “NBAA and its International Operations Committee have been pleased to gather the industry’s best experts, to help attendees prepare for tomorrow’s business aviation landscape, in all parts of the world.” In addition to the host of sessions focused on regional considerations and the latest COVID-19 protocols, discussions focused on e-plotting and paperless cockpits, the latest weather- related technologies and online resources, expert guidance on risk-assessment processes, international cybersecurity concerns and more.
