māk studio’s installation of slat walls and ceilings at the newly renovated Regional Airport in Waco, Texas represents a significant enhancement in both place-making and aesthetics. At Waco, the design team at CaCo Architects wanted to provide travelers with a glimpse into Waco’s specific topography and cultural history. The customization of these walls for this project allowed them to achieve this while also offering a streamlined and modern look.
